Sunday 25th February - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was another excellent evening's football in the Nuneaton Academy Sunday 6 a side league this week which saw all 30 teams in attendance for their matches across all five divisions as scheduled and some well competed games played across the board.

In the Premier League, FC POSITIVITY reigned supreme with a convincing 4-1 victory over Jack's Army. The Misfits eked out a close 1-0 win against Gylfis Young Boys, while Wanyamas In Pyjamas claimed a 3-2 triumph over THE ALLIES FC in what was arguably the game of the night.

Division 1 games were also full of thrills and spills, with Scholes Galore dispatching Dixy Pigeons 3-0, while Murder On Zidanes Floor shattered Extra Special Ones with a resounding 6-0 victory. Norfolk N Chance also carved out a tight 2-1 win against Rooney Tunes.

In Division 2, Beduff Rangers recorded the highest margin of victory for the week, obliterating Eric Bantona 6-0. A close contest saw Borussia Teeth edge Kevos Kids 1-0, while Pain In Dias dominated Ricky Spanish FC 5-1.

Division 3 saw a low-scoring match with AFC Windmilldons securing a 1-0 win over EEFC. Birdies Boys outplayed Kroos Control FC with a 4-0 victory, while NetSixAndChill beat The Griddlers 3-1.

In Division 4, Real Sosobad fell 3-1 to Zulu Warriors, Rainbow Sparkles overcame Blue Crown FC 2-1, and Set 8 recorded a stunning 7-0 victory against Tuffnells FC.
