Sunday 25th November - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was a superb evening's football in the Nuneaton Academy Sunday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance throughout the night and some big results at the top of both divisions!

Second placed Exeter Gently ran out 2-1 winners over top of the table Deportivo LF, reducing the arrears to just two point in what promises to be an exciting final two weeks, starting with next weeks match as Deportivo now have to face third placed Cheeky Milandos!  Surely their goal difference will see them through if nothing else.

In Division One, Sky Blues 87 were toppled from the top of the table as they were held to a 1-1 draw with Substandard Liege.  Misfits were 5-0 winners over Dixy Pigeons as they are now one point ahead of second place.  Its all gearing up to be a league decider on the final week of the season as both face each other on 9th December!
