It was a good evening of 6 a side football at Nuneaton Academy on Sunday with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled and some entertaining matches played across both divisions.
Deportivo LF kept up their perfect start to the campaign with a 7-0 win over Sky Blues 87 who sit in sixth place after a tough start to the campaign. Jacks Army moved into second place with a disciplined performance as they ran out 2-1 winners over Cheeky Milandos. Inter YN sit just behind the top three as they thrashed Misfits 5-1.
Dark Fruit FC kept up their 100% record and made it 6 wins in a row in style this week as they blew Real Sosobad away in the battle of the top two, 6-1 the final score as they sent out a message to the rest of the division that they mean business. That result allowed Egg Fried Reus to make up some ground on second place and they certainly did so in style as they also won 6-1 against Unathletico Madrid.
New team Madeleine Milan looked impressive in their first game of the evening as they ran out 5-0 winners over Dixy Pigeons.
Good luck to all teams going into the next round of fixtures with Nuneaton's premier provider of small sided football.
