Sunday 28th April - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was a fantastic evening's football in the Nuneaton Academy Sunday 6 a side league this week which saw us back to normal after last weeks disruption, and all 30 teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled.

In the Premier League, Wanyamas In Pyjamas showed their dominance by securing a comfortable 3-0 victory against debutant team 3 For A 1er. THE ALLIES FC also turned up the heat by defeating Jack's Army 4-0. A nerve-wracking match between Murder On Zidanes Floor and Norfolk N Chance saw the latter snatch a narrow 1-0 victory.

Division 1 had its share of drama with Pain In Dias clinching a nail-biting 4-3 win over Borussia Teeth. Dixy Pigeons and Misfits had a fair share of the spoils, ending their game in a 2-2 draw while Extra Special Ones and Gylfis Young Boys played out a 1-1 stalemate.

In Division 2, Birdies Boys succumbed to a 4-2 defeat at the hands of Rubbergently. AFC Windmilldons and Imatch FC drew 1-1, while Kevos Kids lost 0-2 to Pukka Chronics.

Division 3 saw Zulu Warriors defeat Eric Bantona 2-1, while NetSixAndChill secured a 2-0 win over The Griddlers. Ricky Spanish FC had a tough day, losing 1-4 to Set 8.

In Division 4, Blue Crown FC stamped their authority with a magnificent 7-0 victory over Tuffnells FC. Real Sosobad pulled off a narrow 1-0 win over EEFC while Kroos Control FC and Rainbow Sparkles ended their encounter in a 2-2 tie.
