Sunday 29th May - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was another good evening's football in the Nuneaton Academy Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their scheduled matches throughout the night.

We welcomed new team Sky Blue Army to the league this week as they moved over from our Etone league, they had a tough opening game against an experienced Extra Special Ones in which they were beaten 3-0, but they will be looking to improve on this as they get used to the league.

We are pleased to welcome another new team to the league this week, and wish 'Gylfi Pleasures FC' good luck going into their first fixture in the Premier Division as they face Up The Tics at 5pm.

As we now approach holiday season, we would remind all teams that in the event that you need to cancel a fixture, we require AT LEAST 7 DAYS NOTICE to do this in order to avoid charge of the match fee.  We are flexible at helping people as we appreciate there will be matches they are unable to attend, so would advise you speak with your players over the coming weeks to ensure availability on all dates during holiday season.
