Sunday 2nd February - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Nuneaton Sunday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance for their matches across all divisions for the final round of fixtures of the campaign.

In the Premier League division, Murder On Zidanes Floor managed to claim the throne by amassing a total of 17 points with 8 wins. Their stunning performance against Gylfis Young Boys, which ended in a 6-1 victory, only solidified their standing as the premier team of the division. Lads On Toure fell to Norfolk N Chance in a 4-1 defeat, while THE ALLIES FC triumphed over NetSixAndChill, scoring 3-1.

Meanwhile, in Division 1, EEFC emerged as the champions with 15 points and 7 wins under their belt. Their performance was concluded with an impressive 8-1 victory over Conkers FC. Borussia Teeth and Hardly Athletic also put up commendable performances, winning 6-2 and 6-2 against Misfits and Pain In Dias respectively.

In Division 2, the crown was claimed by Blue Crown FC, they triumphed with a total of 16 points and 8 wins. They shut down Ricky Spanish FC 4-0, while Tuffnells FC and Expected Toulouse also secured wins against Hinckley Athletic FC and Extra Special Ones.

In the Division 3 clash, Ligmatip took home the title, ending the final week with 14 points and 7 wins. They narrowly defeated Rubbergently 2-1. Salah-vation Army fell to Rainbow Sparkles, and Eric Bantona clinched a 4-1 victory over Kroos Control.
