It was a good evening's football overall in the Nuneaton Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night barring three. We will be in touch with The Allies, Lads on Toure and Hinckley Athletic to confirm their returns on Sunday 9th March.
In the Premier League division, EEFC clinched a nail-biting victory over Hardly Athletic with a final score of 3-2. Norfolk N Chance showcased a remarkable offensive performance, outclassing their rivals NetSixAndChill with a whopping score of 6-1 in a one-sided encounter.
The Division 1 saw some intense football. Challenged FC managed to edge out Gylfis Young Boys 2-1 in a match filled with wonderful displays of skill and teamwork. Blue Crown FC, on the other hand, comfortably defeated Borussia Teeth 3-1, consolidating their position in the league standings.
In Division 2, we saw Rubbergently outshine their opponents Tuffnells FC, thrashing them 6-1. In a closely contested match, Conkers FC managed to secure a narrow victory over Misfits, with the scoreboard reading 2-1 at the final whistle.
The Division 3 matches were no less exciting. Salah-vation Army went down fighting against Kroos Control in a 3-2 defeat, while Extra Special Ones cruised to a 3-0 victory over Rainbow Sparkles. Barely Athletic bagged a 3-1 win over Ricky Spanish FC, capping off an exciting week of football.
