Sunday 30th July - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Nuneaton Academy Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches across the four divisions, the only exception being Bank FC who will be spoken to accordingly to confirm their return.

In the Premier League, The Allies FC and Birdies Boys locked horns in a thrilling 3-3 draw, while Misfits suffered a heavy 7-1 defeat against Lad On Toure. Borussia Teeth narrowly edged past Wanyamas In Pyjamas with a 2-1 victory, and Jack's Army secured a narrow 1-0 win against Dixy Pigeons.

Moving on to Division 1, The BackStreet Moyes dominated their match, recording an impressive 6-1 triumph over Egg Fried Reus. Unipart United showcased their prowess with a resounding 6-0 victory against Kroos Control FC. Extra Special Ones claimed a hard-fought 2-1 win over Homo Sissoko, and FC POSITIVITY stamped their authority with a 4-0 win over Gylfis Young Boys.

In Division 2, Tekkerslovakia emerged victorious with a 2-0 win over Globo Gym Purple Cobras, while Hardly Athletic secured a 2-0 victory against Rainbow Sparkles. Meanwhile, Kevos Kids fell short by a narrow margin, losing 1-0 to Tuffnells FC.

Lastly, in Division 3, Schindlers Assist suffered a narrow 3-2 defeat against The Griddlers, while Ricky Spanish FC and Do-little FC played out a hard-fought 1-1 draw. Murder On Zidanes Floor showcased their offensive prowess with an emphatic 6-0 win over KBTS.

As the Nuneaton Sunday Football League progresses, the competition promises to heat up, with teams vying for glory in their respective divisions, making it exciting for all participants.
