It was a good evening's football overall in the Nuneaton Academy Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance barring two, Slide Into CDM's and The Purples will both be confirmed to return on Sunday 10th April.
The Allies settled into the league pretty well on their first week since moving over from Etone, they were rampant 9-2 winners over Cheeky Milandos, whilst Exeter Gently ran out 5-1 winners against Hardly Athletic. Borussia Teeth in third place keep their outside title chances alive, they battled to a 3-2 win over Up The Tics to remain four points off the pace, whilst Jacks Army should be safe from relegation now, after a 4-2 win over Yerrr who they move above and into fifth spot.
Division One had two league games take place this week after the above cancellations. Egg Fried Reus remain in third spot and have a very outside of chance of promotion if they can keep their recent run of results going, they were 2-0 winners over Rainbow Sparkles in a convincing performance, whilst mid-table Misfits were 3-1 winners against Extra Special Ones in a solid performance.
We wish all teams good luck going into game week 11 with Nuneaton's premier providers of small sided football!
