Sunday 3rd March - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was another excellent evening's football in the Nuneaton Academy Sunday 6 a side league this week, which saw all teams in attendance throughout the night across all five divisions and some superbly competed matches played.

In the illustrious Premier League, THE ALLIES FC continued their hot streak with a commanding 5-1 victory over FC POSITIVITY. Meanwhile, Wanyamas In Pyjamas blanked Misfits 3-0, and Jack's Army put on a scoring clinic with an 8-3 romp over Gylfis Young Boys.

Division 1 witnessed a goal fest as Murder On Zidanes Floor blasted 10 unanswered goals past Rooney Tunes. Elsewhere, Dixy Pigeons and Norfolk N Chance played to a 1-1 stalemate, while Extra Special Ones triumphed 8-4 over Scholes Galore.

In Division 2, Beduff Rangers fell 3-0 to Pain In Dias, Ricky Spanish FC suffered a slim 2-1 loss to Kevos Kids, and Borussia Teeth showed their class with a 5-0 blowout win over Eric Bantona.

The story in Division 3 saw AFC Windmilldons and NetSixAndChill sharing the spoils with a 1-1 draw. The Griddlers and Kroos Control FC also settled for a 2-2 tie, while Birdies Boys edged EEFC 2-0.

The highlight of Division 4 was Set 8's 8-1 demolition of Blue Crown FC. Real Sosobad inflicted a 7-0 drubbing on Tuffnells FC, and Zulu Warriors secured a comfortable 2-0 victory over Rainbow Sparkles.
