Sunday 4th August - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was a fantastic evening's football in the Nuneaton Academy Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled and some excellent matches played across all divisions.

In the Premier League, Birdies Boys outclassed Borussia Teeth in a 3-1 victory, while Norfolk N Chance managed a narrow 1-0 win against Pain In Dias. The match between Murder On Zidanes Floor and THE ALLIES FC ended in a deadlock, with neither team managing to score.

The Division 1 clashes saw AFC Windmilldons emerge victorious over Beduff Rangers with a 3-1 scoreline. Misfits stole the show with an impressive 6-3 win against Gylfis Young Boys, while Kevos Kids shut out Britannia Draculas FC, winning 3-0.

Division 2 witnessed tight matches with both NetSixAndChill and Pukka Chronics losing 1-0 to Kingsmill 50-50 and Set 8 respectively.

The matches in Division 3 were equally exciting with Hardly Athletic and Blue Crown FC ending in a 3-3 draw. Imatch FC blanked Rubbergently 2-0, but the highlight of the division was Kroos Control FC's devastating 0-8 loss to Remdog United.

Finally, in Division 4, EEFC registered a 3-1 victory over Eric Bantona, while Ricky Spanish FC also managed a 3-1 win against Real Sosobad. The game between Rainbow Sparkles and Tuffnells FC ended in a 1-1 draw.
