Sunday 4th February - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Nuneaton Academy Sunday 6 a side league this week, which saw all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled across all five divisions and some well competed matches played.

In the Premier League, Gylfis Young Boys commanded the field with a momentous 5-1 victory over FC Positivity. Jack's Army and Wanyamas In Pyjamas concluded a close game with a 2-2 draw, while The Allies FC displayed their might with a staggering 7-1 win against Misfits.

Division 1 saw Dixy Pigeons beating Extra Special Ones 2-0. Hardly Athletic showed their prowess with an 8-0 wipeout of Rooney Tunes, and Murder On Zidanes Floor triumphed 3-0 over Norfolk N Chance.

Moving onto Division 2, Borussia Teeth took a convincing win over Beduff Rangers, scoring 4 goals to none. Ricky Spanish FC bested Eric Bantona 4-1. Pain In Dias and Kevos Kids finished evenly with a 1-1 draw.

In Division 3, Birdies Boys defeated AFC Windmilldons 3-1. The Griddlers showed no mercy, earning a 3-0 victory against EEFC. NetSixAndChill excelled in their match against Kroos Control FC, ending with a score line of 4-0.

Lastly, Division 4 presented us with Lads On Toure, who scored 5 goals against Blue Crown FC. Rainbow Sparkles shone brightly with a 6-0 win over Tuffnells FC. The match between Set 8 and Real Sosobad concluded in a 1-1 draw.
