It was a good evening's football overall in the Nuneaton Academy Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled, all except The Backstreet Moyes who will be spoken to accordingly to confirm their return on Monday 12th November.
In the Premier League, THE ALLIES FC showed their dominance with a convincing 5-0 victory over Wanyamas in Pyjamas. Jack's Army also made their intentions clear with an impressive 5-1 win over FC POSITIVITY. These victories have set the stage for what will surely be a thrilling competition in the coming weeks.
Division 1 saw a fair share of action as well. Tekkerslovakia and Dixy Pigeons played out a balanced 1-1 draw, while the match between Misfits and Gylfis Young Boys ended in a high-scoring game with the latter clinching it 5-4.
In Division 2, Kroos Control FC narrowly lost 0-1 to Beduff Rangers, while Murder On Zidanes Floor put on an incredible performance, trouncing Hardly Athletic 8-1. Globo Gym Purple Cobras were edged out 2-1 by the Extra Special Ones.
The Division 3 matches saw The Griddlers lose 2-1 to Kevos Kids, while Ricky Spanish FC notched up a 4-1 victory over Tuffnells FC. West Wood Mongs made a strong statement with a massive 11-0 win against Rainbow Sparkle on their debut game!
Finally, in Division 4, Set 8 were defeated 2-0 by CTFC, while Pain In Dias triumphed over Do-little FC with a 3-0 scoreline.
