Sunday 5th September - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Nuneaton Academy Sunday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled, and some excellent games played across both divisions.

The top v bottom clash threw up no surprises in the Premier Division as Mike Oxard FC cruised to a 10-0 hammering over Rainbow Sparkles, to all but seal the title for themselves barring a major slip up, one more win will guarantee this.  Jack's Army were also winners in their match as they remain in second place, they recorded a 5-0 victory over Misfits.

Division One looks a lot closer as only three points separates the top 5 teams!  Egg Fried Reus remain top of the pile but their lead has reduced to a single point, this follows their surprise goalless draw with Fork and Barstools, whilst Cheeky Milandos 4-3 win over Borussia Teeth sees them edge closer to the summit.
