Sunday 6th April - Nuneaton Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Nuneaton Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night across all divisions, the only exception being Romasexuals who'll be spoken to accordingly to confirm their return on Sunday 13th April.


In the Premier League division, THE ALLIES FC proved their dominance once again by defeating Norfolk N Chance 3-0. The Allies' unbeaten run continues to put them at the top of the division, with the team's top scorer adding another goal to his tally, much to the delight of the fans.


Moving on to Division 1, Expected Toulouse showed their mettle with an impressive 3-1 victory over Challenged FC. Not to be outdone, Borussia Teeth recorded an astonishing 8-1 triumph over Dukes Of Hazard, making them the talk of the division. Their top scorer added a hat-trick, delighting his team's fans while simultaneously silencing the opposition's.


In Division 2, Misfits pulled off a narrow 2-1 victory against Atherstone Town FC. In a closely contested match, Misfits' top scorer netted the winning goal, bringing his total for the season to an impressive number.


Lastly, in Division 3, the prowess of Ricky Spanish FC was on display as they defeated Kroos Control 4-1. Elsewhere, Salah-vation Army managed a 2-0 win against Extra Special Ones, and Barely Athletic scored a narrow 1-0 victory over Rainbow Sparkles. Each of the top scorers for these teams contributed significantly to their respective victories.
