Sunday 6th November - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Nuneaton Academy Sunday 6 a side league this week overall with all teams in attendance as scheduled across both divisions, the only exceptions being cancellations from Ballondora Boys and The Invincibles.

Second placed Dixy Pigeons suffered a 6-0 reverse at the hands of Gylfi's Young Boys in a surprise result, moving them up to fourth and within a point of Dixy.  Elsewhere Jack's Army remain in third place after they shared the spoils in an entertaining 4-4 draw with Who Ate All Depays.  Borussia Teeth moved themselves three points clear of the drop zone as they were 4-1 winners over Wanyama's In Pyjamas, hoping that'll be enough to secure another season in the top league for next season.

In Division One, Sky Blue Army have secured promotion to the top division with two games to spare as they cruised to a 3-0 win over Extra Special Ones who remain in third.  The other two games in the division were closely competed as Rainbow Sparkles were 1-0 winners over Globogym Purple Cobras, whilst Egg Fried Reus were 2-1 winners over Kroos Control to remain in sixth.
