Sunday 6th October - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was a fantastic end to the season in the Nuneaton Academy Sunday 6 a side league with all teams in attendance apart from Cheeky Milandos who will be spoken to accordingly regarding their continuation for the new season.

A 2-1 defeat was still good enough for Exeter Gently to win the Premier Division title this week, Inter YN couldn't get that all important goal which would've clinched it on goals scored for them!  Sky Blues also ended up finishing level on points in third place after their 2-1 victory over Up The Adders.

In Division One it was Hardly Athletic who clinched the title after this weeks action, they were 3-2 winners over Flash's Young Boys in a highly entertaining encounter, whilst Trees Are May suffered a surprise 2-0 reverse at the hands of Misfits, meaning they have to settle for second place.

We will be in contact with all teams regarding the new season which gets underway on Sunday 13th October and will confirm kick off information for the first game of the new campaign.
