Sunday 7th April - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Nuneaton Academy Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled, the only exception to this being Murder on Zidane's Floor who will be spoken to accordingly to confirm their return on Sunday 14th April.

In the prestigious Premier League, THE ALLIES FC proved their mettle with a commanding 4-1 victory over Ball Of Duty. Meanwhile, Norfolk N Chance solidified their place in the league with a hard-fought 2-1 win against Wanyamas In Pyjamas.

Division 1 saw an array of dramatic performances, with Borussia Teeth snatching a 2-0 victory against Misfits, while Pain In Dias stunned Gylfis Young Boys with a dominant 6-0 win. Extra Special Ones also held their ground with a 4-0 triumph over Dixy Pigeons.

Over in Division 2, AFC Windmilldons made their presence known with an impressive 6-1 win against Rubbergently. Imatch Fc edged past Pukka Chronics 1-0, whereas Kevos Kids and Birdies Boys settled for a 1-1 draw in a tightly contested battle.

In Division 3, The Griddlers took down Eric Bantona 4-1 while Set 8 secured a 2-0 victory against Zulu Warriors, and Ricky Spanish FC fell to NetSixAndChill 3-1.

Lastly, in Division 4, Real Sosobad were on the losing end of a 3-1 match against Blue Crown FC, Rainbow Sparkles cruised to a 4-0 victory over Tuffnells FC, and Kroos Control FC managed to edge past EEFC 1-0 in a nail-biting contest.
