It was a good evening's football in the Nuneaton Academy Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night for their matches as scheduled, the only exception being a cancellation from Eric Bantona, who return as normal for the next round of fixtures.
In the Premier League, Norfolk N Chance claimed victory against Birdies Boys with a 2-1 score, while an intriguing match between Murder On Zidanes Floor and Pain In Dias ended 4-2, favoring the former. THE ALLIES FC demonstrated a dominant performance, hammering Borussia Teeth with a 5-1 victory.
Division 1 saw AFC Windmilldons recording an impressive 5-0 win against Kevos Kids. Gylfis Young Boys edged out Kingsmill 50-50 in a closely contested match that ended 2-1, while Beduff Rangers and Misfits drew 1-1.
In Division 2, Pukka Chronics and NetSixAndChill both registered 3-0 victories, against Expected Toulouse and Set 8 respectively. In a gripping contest, Sky Blue Army overcame Extra Special Ones 2-1.
Division 3's matches were equally gripping. Blue Crown FC trounced Kroos Control FC 3-0, while Imatch Fc had a narrow 2-1 win over Remdog United. Hardly Athletic lost 2-4 to Rubbergently in a high-scoring match.
In the final Division 4, Real Sosobad clinched a victory over EEFC with a 3-2 score, while Ricky Spanish FC edged out Rainbow Sparkles 2-0.
