Sunday 8th September - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Nuneaton Academy Sunday 6 a side football league this week overall, with all teams in attendance throughout the night across all divisions, the only exception being a cancellation from Beduff Rangers who return as normal on Sunday 15th September, and Kingsmill 50-50 who've now been removed from the league.

In the Premier League, THE ALLIES FC made a resounding statement, thrashing Birdies Boys 10-1 in an exciting clash. Norfolk N Chance also set the tempo high, rolling over Gylfis Young Boys with a clean 5-0 triumph. Murder On Zidanes Floor ensured their spot on the leaderboard with a decisive 3-0 win against Misfits.

Division 1 saw close encounters with Expected Toulouse narrowly edged out by AFC Windmilldons 1-0 while Pain In Dias scraped past Borussia Teeth with a 1-0 victory.

In Division 2, Imatch FC displayed their prowess by obliterating Britannia Draculas FC 5-0. Hardly Athletic secured a 3-1 win against the Salah-vation Army.

The Mushy Boys from Division 3 faced a 3-0 setback from Blue Crown FC. EEFC also had a winning start with a 2-0 victory over Rubbergently. In a nail-biting match, Ricky Spanish FC fell short by a single goal against Extra Special Ones, resulting in a 3-2 scoreline.

Finally, in Division 4, Tuffnells FC held their nerves to edge past Eric Bantona 4-3 while Rainbow Sparkles and I Boomed Yamom In The Ash FC shared the spoils with a 1-1 draw.
