It was a brilliant night of 6 a side football at Oak Park in Walsall on Monday, with some terrific matches played. It was a potentially decisive set of games, with just three weeks remaining of the current season.
Premier Division
It was a potentially huge night in the Premier Division, as two of the top three faced off against each other. Exeter Gently beat Lazy Hill Lions 4-2 in a fantastic game to move two points clear at the top. Sporting Becketts 1902 failed to take advantage of two of their rivals playing, as they were surprisingly beaten 3-2 by an outstanding John Beans FC, who gave their survival hopes a massive boost.
Division One
Ajax Trees Down and Leavemaarsealona continued their procession towards promotion from Division One, as they both secured entertaining victories.
A sensational performance from Paris Ganjaman saw them smash Shelfield Wednesday 14-1, which sees the race to avoid the drop thrown wide open. There is now just two points between third placed Shelfield Wednesday and seventh placed Beercelona.
Division Two
In Division Two, Edwards Allstars sealed their promotion in style with a superb 6-1 victory over Chicken Tika Taka, and one more point from their final three games will see them win the title as well.
Vegas Degenerates still look good to join them in promotion, although Deportivo Laca Talent 2 won't be giving up hope on promotion themselves just yet. Both sides won last night, leaving Vegas three points ahead.
