Monday 10th September - Walsall Match Report

Another fantastic evening of 6 a side football in Walsall on Monday overall saw all teams in attendance apart from Sporting Becketts who cancelled at very short notice and return on Monday 17th September.

The top two is all but confirmed in the Premier Division now with 4 points between second and third.  There is now only one point between top and second though after Expected Toulouse were surprisingly held by 7th placed Ajax Trees Down, 1-1 it finished.  Lazy Hill Lions played in the game before and did what was required of them, a 5-1 win over bottom placed Bandits. 

In Division One, Vegas Degenerates ended any slim chance they had of promotion after a surprising 5-1 defeat to bottom placed Beercelona, to goal difference is likely to cost them at this stage.  Its now a three way tie for promotion after Cowdenbeef, Soccer Cleats and Edwards Allstars all won again!

Congratulations to Moggy's Mountaineers who have now guaranteed themselves Division One football next season.  They only need one more point to make themselves champions and remove any doubt, but you would fancy them do win it with the superior goal difference between them and second.  Chicken Tika Taka are still in second after a 7-0 drubbing of Parkstone FC.
