Monday 13th June - Walsall Round-Up

It was an excellent evening's football in the Walsall Monday 6 a side league this week, with all 30 teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled and some excellent matches played across all three divisions!

We saw two new teams join the league this week as both went into the Premier Division.  Suarez Ate My Hamster put in a solid effort for their first game as they were beaten 6-2 by Blakenallontour in their debut game, but will be looking to improve going into next week.  Whilst Hakuna Juan Mata had one of the toughest starts possible lining up against Expected Toulouse who had a strong team out and were 12-1 winners.

Pickles Army made it three wins on the spin in the Premier Division as they were 5-2 winners over Edwards Allstars, whilst Budgie Neck beat the outgoing Four Crosses by 5 goals to 3.  Pique Blinders and The Warts played out a seven goal thriller in a game that ended 4-3.

Division One is led by Stroke Titty who got their third win in a row since joining, they were 6-2 winners over Vegas Degenerates this week to remain the last team on maximum points in the division.  Newly promoted Fat and Furious got their second win on the bounce after losing the season opener, a 5-1 win over RGP puts them on four points, as are Dijk In Dias who's 5-0 win against Shelfield Wednesday sees them stay third.  Last Chance U bounced back from defeat last week to beat Hong Kong Vesey 4-2 to move up to fourth.

Croft VI went to the top of Division Two this week as a point was enough to move them up the table, what a point it was though as they drew 5-5 with Exeter Gently in an end to end thriller.  Balotellitubbies 8-4 win over Ji Sung Chen moved them up to second spot, at the expense of Ball of Duty who dropped to third after being beaten 6-3 against Tea and Busquets.  Inter Ya Nanny appear to be finding their feet as they got their second win on the spin with a 4-2 victory over Beercelona.  Completing the action was Undateable FC who were the big winners of the week, thrashing Gunner Beat You 10-2 to register their first win of the season in style.

WE ARE DELIGHTED TO WELCOME NEW TEAM EURO ANCHOR FC TO THE LEAGUE THIS WEEK, WE WISH THESE GOOD LUCK GOING INTO THEIR FIRST GAME ON MONDAY 20TH JUNE AS THEY REPLACE FOUR CROSSES.
