It was a slightly mixed evening in the Walsall Monday 6 a side league this week due to a lot of people being at the Aston Villa v Liverpool game. We do however thank everyone for notifying us of their unavailability and look forward to seeing all teams who were missing return to action on Monday 20th May.
In the highly competitive Premier League division, Botty Dem came out strong trouncing Save Shane's Turtle 7-1 in an adrenaline-fueled showdown. The relentless offensive from Botty Dem proved too much for Save Shane's Turtle, who struggled to keep up. Stroke Titty also recorded an impressive win against Last Chance U, scoring 8 goals against 4.
Division 1 saw an aggressive play with Old House UTD taking on Baileys And Maccies. It was Baileys And Maccies who claimed the victory with a scoreline of 4-1, demonstrating their dominance in the field.
Meanwhile in Division 2, the matches were nothing short of excitement. AFC Shitmond in a nail-biting finish managed to edge out Road To Relegation 4-3. SHELFIELD WEDNESDAY secured a resounding victory over IBT Dream Team, scoring 7 against 4. In another match, Lads On Toure emerged victorious against TwoMenFarmers with a commanding 8-0 win, while Croft VI narrowly beat Dude Wheres My Ladders 3-2.
We wish all teams good luck heading into the next round of fixtures with Walsall's premier provider of small sided football!
