Monday 15th July - Walsall Round-Up

Overall it was a good evening's football in the Walsall Monday 6 a side league this week.  We did have a handful of teams missing due to holiday etc, but look forward to seeing Dijk In Dias, Langers and Euro Anchor return as normal on Monday 22nd July.  Top Shelf Crew have been withdrawn and replaced with new team Ajang FC who we wish good luck going into their first game.

On the pitch, in the Premier League, Botty Dem took on Last Chance U in an exhilarating face-off, the former team emerging victorious with a comfortable 6-2 win. Stroke Titty and Foley Kings had a closely contested match, Stroke Titty edging out their opponents with a narrow 4-3 win, which has shaken up the division rankings.

Over in Division 1, Manor Mandem triumphed over Baileys And Maccies with a spirited 3-1 victory. The spotlight, however, was stolen by Old House UTD's thunderous 7-3 defeat of Kits In The Boot, an impressive performance that has sent ripples across the division.

In Division 2, AFC Shitmond and Barmy Army narrowly defeated their respective opponents, IBT Dream Team and Lads On Toure, in a pair of gripping 3-2 matches. Dude Wheres My Ladders clinched a 5-3 win over SHELFIELD WEDNESDAY, while the Croft VI outscored Save Shane's Turtle 5-3 in another nail-biting contest.

We wish all teams good luck going into the next round of fixtures with Walsall's premier providers of small sided football!
