Monday 15th November - Walsall Oak Park Round-Up

It was another good evening's football in the Walsall Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled and some excellent football played throughout the night.

New team Walsall Arms joined the league this week and played their first fixture with us, they were 5-3 winners over Budgie Neck in an impressive first performance!  Top of the table Expected Toulouse's season continues to go from strength to strength, they were 5-1 winners over the Warts to record their 12th win of 13 for the season.  Elsewhere Stroke Titty remain in second place after their entertaining 9-4 victory against Psycho Dean's Australian Army.

The top of Division One remains tight, with three teams separated by a single point so far!  Langers FC moved to the top of the pile with a 2-0 win against Hong Kong Vesey, whilst No Fuchs Given went into second spot and above their opponents Environmental Health who they thrashed 5-1.  Tea and Busquets were the big winners of the evening as they swept aside bottom of the league Rushall Rovers by a 12-1 scoreline, whilst Balotellitubbies and Dijk In Dias shared the spoils in a 10 goal thriller, ending 5-5.

In Division Two, the top v bottom clash threw up no surprises, as Shelfield Wednesday secured a 9-3 victory against Neuer Gonna Give you Up to keep their title challenge well and truly alive, as they remain two points above West Norwich Albion.  Third placed Croft VI continue to keep the pressure on the top two though, and were good value for their 4-0 win over Pique Blinders this week.  Exeter Gently moved out of the bottom two places as they edged past OK by a 2-1 scoreline, whilst Vegas Degenerates slipped into these places after losing out to Fat and Furious in a thrilling game that ended 5-4.
