Monday 17th May - Walsall Round-Up

It was another good evening's football in the Walsall Monday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance for their scheduled matches, the only exception being a late cancellation from The Tangs on the day.  They will be spoken to accordingly regarding their continuation.

Expected Toulouse went to the top of the Premier Division after their 3-0 win over Real Sosobad, whilst Ruud Van Nipplejoy suffered a 4-1 reverse at the hands of The Fantastic Claw, who moved up to sixth spot with this result.  Elswehere, Fold Beef New Tricks leapfrogged this weeks opponents Stroke Titty after running out 3-2 winners in the match up.

RIP Stinky Pete picked up their first win in the league in only their second game, as they recorded a 2-1 win over The Balotellitubbies, who dropped to third place.  No Fuchs Given were 5-1 winners against Hong Kong Vesey and move into second place.  Elsewhere, Environmental Health moved into fourth position as they were 2-1 winners against You Blaaady FC.

In Division Two Shelly Boppers dropped their first points of the campaign but remain top of the pile.  They were beaten 5-4 by Croft VI in a thrilling encounter, a result which also allowed Tea and Busquets to move into joint top spot as they ran out 3-1 winners in their match over Chungz Army.  Only Fools and Donkeys dropped to third place after a 2-0 defeat to Fat and Furious.
