It was a good evening's football in the Walsall Monday 6 a side league this week which saw all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled across the divisions.
We welcomed back former champions Four Crosses to the Premier Division this week, and they will be a useful addition for sure, they shared a 3-3 draw with Stroke Titty this week in what was a thrilling game. Budgie Neck were 6-3 winners over Undateable FC to make it three wins from three, although they don't sit top of the table as an in form Last Chance U were 5-4 victors over Tchoumani Men and sit top of the pile thanks to their superior goal difference!
In Division One, Duke of York were given their sternest test yet this season but eventually ran out triumphant, they were 7-5 winners against Shelfield Wednesday in a thrilling game. Langers recovered from defeat last week to get their second win of the campaign so far, convincingly beating WillianDiaz 6-1.
In Division Two, Dijk In Dias had to settle for a point this week but sit on five points after three games, they drew 1 apiece with Inter Ya Nanny who are level on points with the leaders. Save Shane's Turtle ran out 4-3 winners over Vegas Degenerates and Tea and Busquets were 5-2 winners against Dad Bods as both recorded their first victories of the season.
Division Three is led by an in form Beercelona who look rejuvinated this season and claimed their third win on the spin, running out 6-2 winners against Croft VI. Arbo FC remain second but suffered defeat for the first time this term as they were beaten 6-3 by Balotellitubbies. Completing the action was Unathletico Madrid who were 2-1 winners over Six Offenders as they claimed their first win in 12 games so well done to them!
