Monday 21st January - Walsall Round-up

It was a good start to the new season in the Walsall Monday 6 a side league at Oak Park which saw some entertaining matches played across all three divisions.

Soccer Cleats and Bandits played out a thriller in the opening match of the night in the Premier Division which Soccer Cleats came out 8-5 winners.  Expected Toulouse started the season well as they look to defend their title, they ran out 3-0 winners over newly promoted Moggy's Mountaineers.

Oak Park Penguins were 5-1 winners over Leavemaarselona in their first game since promotion to Division One to show that they're a force to be reckoned with this season.  Edwards Allstars were 4-1 winners as they met Vegas Degenerates whilst Chicken Tika Taka ran out 3-1 winners in their game against Shelfield Wednesday.

Pelsall Sevilla were in rampant form in Division Two as they thrashed Hanging By A Fred 12-1 to do their goal difference the world of good at this stage of the season!  Meanwhile Arbo FC were beaten 4-0 at the hands of The Baltotellitubbies in their first game since relegation.  Celsius ran out 4-2 winners in their match against FC Sporting A Beergut whilst Fat and Furious and Blakenallontour played out an entertaining 3-3 draw as they couldn't be separated.
