It was a good evening of 6 a side football in Walsall on Monday which saw all teams in attendance throughout the night, the only exception unfortunately being Bandits who have now been withdrawn from the league. We welcome new team Rent Boys to the league as their replacement and wish these good luck going into their first fixture on Monday 4th March.
On the field there were some excellent matches played as Ajax Treesdown stay in second place in the Premier Division with a 5-2 win over Moggy's Mountaineers. Men Behaving Chadli leapfrogged Lazy Hill Lions into third place as the two met this week with Chadli running out 2-1 winners. Cowndenbeef played out the most exciting game as they won their first game of the season, 4-3 over Exeter Gently.
Paris Ganjaman remain at the top of the table after an impressive thrashing of Hardly Athletic, 10-3 the final score. Chicken Tikka Taka hammered new team RVG FC 7-1 and sit joint top of the table. Meanwhile Leavemaarselona sit third after a 7-2 victory over Edwards Allstars whilst New Old Boys went level on points with Oak Park Penguins as they beat them 3-2 this week to sit in fifth place. Vegas Degenerates completed the action in Division One with a 5-2 victory over ninth placed Shelfield Wednesday.
Twinkle Toes perfect record in Division Two continues as they recorded a sixth straight victory, 4-2 over Pelsall Sevilla who dropped their first points of the campaign, but remain in second place. Arbo FC picked up their first win since joining the league as they beat Beercelona 8-4 in a thrilling game which sees Arbo go above their opponents in the table. FC Sporting A Beergut sit in fifth place after hammering bottom of the table Hanging By A Fred 6-2.
