Monday 3rd September - Walsall Round-Up

It was another fantastic evening of 6 a side football in Walsall on Monday which saw all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled, the only exception being 'Celsius' who will be spoken to accordingly to confirm their return on Monday 10th September.

Expected Toulouse lead the way in the Premier Division and still do so after an impressive 3-1 win against Lazy Hill Lions in the top of the table clash.  They are now 2 points ahead with a far superior goal difference worth another point!  Sporting Becketts were on fire in front of goal elsewhere with a thumping 9-3 win over Ajax Trees Down.

Its as you were as far as the top 4 go in Division One with all four picking up victories this week meaning that still only 2 points seperate all teams going into the last three weeks of the season.  It still remains to be seen who can clinch those promotion places, but Cowdenbeef still have the edge being 2 points ahead and with a better goal difference.

Moggys Mountaineers took a giant step towards the title in Division Two this week, beating second placed Hardly Athletic 5-3 in a thrilling encounter which puts them 4 points clear with just 3 games remaining, it would take something reminiscent of Liverpool in 2014 from them to let it 'slip' from here!
