Monday 5th June - Walsall Oak Park Round-Up


Walsall Oak Park Monday 6 a side league made a thrilling return after a Bank Holiday break, with teams ready to showcase their skills and fight for glory. However, two teams were notably absent from the action: Hong Kong Vesey, who will be returning next week, and the unfortunate Shove It In The Goal, who have been removed from the league after only three games. But fear not, as a warm welcome was extended to the new team, Shithouse FC, as their replacement.


Let's dive into the exciting match results from game week 4 of the season:


In the Premier Division, Foley Kings clashed with Stroke Titty. The match proved to be a titanic struggle, but Stroke Titty emerged victorious with a 2-0 win. It was a stunning display of skill and determination, leaving the Foley Kings searching for their rhythm. Nevertheless, Last Chance U seized the opportunity to leapfrog their opponents to the top of the table with a resounding 7-4 victory over the Duke of York. They truly proved that this was their last chance to make a statement!


Meanwhile, in the Premier Division's standout encounter, Euro Anchor FC faced off against Dennis' Disciples. Euro Anchor FC delivered an exceptional performance, leaving their opponents in their wake with a remarkable 9-3 triumph. They truly anchored their position as a force to be reckoned with, leaving Dennis' Disciples with lessons to learn.


Moving on to Division One, Gangsters Allardyce squared off against the Vegas Degenerates in a clash of contrasting styles. It was a hard-fought battle, but the Vegas Degenerates emerged victorious with a 5-3 win. They showcased their unruly yet effective approach, proving that sometimes it pays off to play like a true degenerate.


In another Division One match, Shelfield Wednesday struggled to find their footing against Dude Wheres My Ladders. The latter team seemed to have climbed their way to success, scoring an impressive 9 goals and leaving their opponents scoreless. It was an emphatic victory, and Dude Wheres My Ladders certainly lived up to their name, rising to the top with confidence.


The clash between Langers FC and Dijk In Dias showcased the dominance of Langers FC in Division One. They secured their fourth consecutive victory, maintaining their early-season table-topping form. With a solid 3-0 win, they proved that their opponents were no match for their langerous style of play.


In Division Two, Dad Bods faced off against ARBO FC in a closely contested match. The Dad Bods showed resilience and determination, managing to edge out ARBO FC with a narrow 3-2 victory. It was a battle of fitness and finesse, and the Dad Bods ultimately proved that experience and a little extra weight can sometimes make the difference.


Meanwhile, Road to Relegation took on Save Shane's Turtle in another Division Two clash. Unfortunately for Road to Relegation, their path seemed destined for a downward spiral as Save Shane's Turtle triumphed with a convincing 5-1 victory. The turtles showcased their defensive prowess, ensuring that Road to Relegation had a bumpy journey indeed.


Lastly, in Division Three, Tea and Busquets faced off against Interyananny. It was a closely contested match, but Tea and Busquets managed to secure a 2-1 win. Their tactical finesse and ability to control the game allowed them to brew a victory against their formidable opponents.


In the final Division Three fixture, Six Offenders battled against Croft VI. Croft VI proved to be the dominant force, securing their third win in four games with a resounding 8-3 victory. They displayed an offensive onslaught that their opponents simply couldn't defend against, establishing themselves as early frontrunners in this campaign.
