It was another good evening's football in the Walsall Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled and some excellent matches played across all three divisions.
Chase FC put in another top performance this week as they remain at the summit, they were 7-1 winners over bottom side Langers in a game that produced no surprises. The Warts moved into second place as they romped to a 6-0 victory over Corn Swingers, whilst third placed Walsall Arms were involved in a thriller with Budgie Neck in a game that ended all square, 3-3 the final score. Expected Toulouse suffered their first defeat in a calendar year last week, and suffered their second in a week this time out as they were beaten 2-0 by an impressive looking Four Crosses! No Fuchs Given put a tough start to the season behind them as they recorded their second win on the bounce, and they did so in style with a 14-1 thrashing of RGP.
Psycho Dean's Australian Army remain in second place behind leaders Dijk In Dias as they were 3-1 victors over Last Chance U. New boys Pelsall Trojans had a tough start to the league as they look to get used to it over the coming weeks, they suffered an 11-0 defeat to The Balotellitubbies who move into third place, handsomely improving their goal difference in the process. Hong Kong Vesey moved into fourth place as they leapfrogged this weeks opponents Croft VI, whom they beat by 4 goals to 1. Elsewhere Shelfield Wednesday picked up their first victory of the season since promotion, as they were 4-2 victors against Class on Grass.
It was goals galore in Division Two as 47 goals were scored across the four league games alone! Top of the table Fat and Furious keep up their unbelievable start to the campaign as they notched double figures for the second game in a row, running out 15-3 winners over new boys Mike Shamoley, whilst Stella Courtois had a tough game again this week losing 14-0 to an in form Beercelona in the battle of the lagers. Exeter Gently got their fourth win in five as they remain in fourth place following a 7-2 victory over OK, whilst Crystal Meth Palace made it a second game in a row unbeaten as they shared the spoils with Tea and Busquets in an entertaining 3-3 draw.
