It was an excellent evening of 6 a side football in Walsall on Monday which saw all teams in attendance throughout the night across all four divisions and some excellent matches played throughout the night.
There was a huge shock in the Premier Division as Lazy Hill Lions crumbled at the hands of Expected Toulouse in what was billed as the title decider. In the end Expected Toulouse thrashed them 18-1 to win the title barring a miracle, their goal difference now 36 better than second place. John Beans FC will have their eye on second place going into next week as they face Lazy Hill with only one point separating them.
We are in the unique position where three out of the four divisions title winners can still be decided as we enter the final round of fixtures for this season which makes for an exciting end to the league.
Undoubtedly game of the night is going to be the clash between Moggy's Mountaineers and Exeter Gently as both are vying for the league title in Division One and are locked on points. Nothing less than a win will do for Moggys however as their inferior goal difference means a draw would win it for Exeter.
In Division Two Hardly Athletic and Paris Ganjaman are separated by just one point as they are both guaranteed promotion but will want to ensure they go up as champions.
Oak Park Penguins and Chicken Tikka Mo Salah are currently level on points in the mini league of Division Four. However, a win for Twinkle Toes would see them steal second place from Chicken Tikka Mo Salah as both face each other next week in another exciting looking clash.
We wish all teams good luck going into the final round of this season's fixtures at Oak Park and remind all teams that the new season will kick off on Monday 21st January.
