WEEKLY UPDATE FROM THE WALSALL MONDAY LEAGUE 22ND JULY

Another excellent evening in terms of attendance in the Walsall Monday 6 aside league with most teams enjoying a great evening of football.

The only real sour point of the evening was an injury sustained by a player from Monday Nighters which caused paramedics to be called to deal with the injury. Obviously play in their match against Expected Toulouse had to be halted and eventually abandoned due to the player being dealt with on the pitch. I can report that this player was taken to hospital with a dislocated shoulder but has now been released and should recover fully. I would like to thank all players who were inconvenienced during the evening for their patience and understanding. The result of this fixture has been recorded as a 0-0 draw but it will be changed once the teams meet next as that result will be duplicated for this match as well.

We have also had two new teams called Sex, Drugs & Carlton Cole and Botty Dem join the league this week so we would like to welcome them and wish them luck for the remainder of the season.
