It was a good evening's football overall in the Walsall Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches, the only exception being Sporting Stonnall who had to cancel but return to action on Sunday 17th December.
In arguably the most closely watched match of the week, Growler FC managed to secure a 2-0 victory over Cardiac Saggy Breasts. Their exceptional defence denied any scoring opportunities to the opposition, earning them a clean sheet in this crucial game. This victory further cements Growler FC's place in the league standings.
On the other hand, an equally hard-fought match was seen between The Purple Helmets and Hardly Athletic F.C. The Purple Helmets dramatically emerged victorious with a score of 5-2, showcasing their formidable offensive prowess. Their outstanding performance certainly highlighted the strength of their attacking line-up and has made them the team to watch in coming weeks.
We wish all teams good luck going into the final games of the current season with Walsall's premier providers of small sided football!
