It was a fantastic evening's football in the Walsall Sunday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance for their scheduled matches and some excellent football played once again.
Leaders Purple Helmets keep their point gap at the top of the table as they were comfortable 5-2 winners over Big Slice, a big result for the top team as they had to gain maximum points after second placed Anonymous FC had earlier thrashed Reus and Peas by a 7-2 scoreline.
Leave My Arcelona got back to winning ways this week after cruising to a 4-0 win over Sporting Stonnall, as did Hardly Athletic who had to work hard to get over the line, they were 2-1 winners against Shithouse FC in a tightly contested fixture.
We are pleased to see the league running so smoothly since the move to Oak Park and thank all teams for their continued reliability and commitment to the league.
We wish all teams good luck going into game week 6 with Walsall's premier providers of small sided football!
