Sunday 19th January - Walsall Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Walsall Sunday 6 a side league this week overall, with all teams in attendance barring a late cancellation from Bloxwich Town who return as normal on Sunday 26th January.

A well competed game saw Growler FC emerge victorious with a 2-1 win over Aston Wanderers. Despite the Wanderers taking an early lead, Growler FC managed to claw their way back into the game, resulting in a fascinating display of skill, teamwork, and stamina.

We are pleased to welcome new team Shaffle FC to the league from Sunday 26th January, we wish these good luck going into their first fixture with us this weekend.

As the Walsall Sunday Football League moves into its sixth week, the Premier League division's competition heats up. With the players geared up for the next round of matches, fans and spectators eagerly wait to see what the coming weeks will bring.
