It was a good evening's football overall in the Walsall Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches throughout the night, the only exception being Fat Fuchs who have missed the last couple due to people being on holiday. They do however return to action on Sunday 27th August and we look forward to seeing them back.
In the first match of the evening, The Purple Helmets displayed their offensive prowess as they triumphed over Karma Lions with an impressive 7-1 victory. The Purple Helmets dominated the game from the first whistle, showcasing their attacking prowess to secure all the points.
Meanwhile, it was a closely fought encounter between Sporting Stonnall and Hardly Athletic F.C. Both teams displayed great determination and skill, but it was Sporting Stonnall who emerged as the winners, edging out their opponents with a narrow 3-2 victory. The match went down to the wire, keeping the spectators on the edge of their seats until the final whistle.
In another exciting match, Growler FC showcased their exceptional attacking abilities and secured a convincing 5-2 win against Leave Me Arcelona. The Growler FC players demonstrated their clinical finishing to ensure they claimed the victory.
Thank you to all teams for their continued commitment and reliability towards the league as ever, and good luck to all heading into the next round of fixtures with Walsall's premier providers of small sided football!
