Sunday 23rd April - Walsall Round-Up

Welcome to the match round-up of the Walsall Sunday 6-a-side league, held at Oak Park Active Living Centre on Sunday 23rd April. All teams attended on time, except Reus and Peas who will make their return next week. The matches were thrilling, and we witnessed some high-scoring draws, along with an impressive victory.

Let's kick things off with the first match of the night, where Sporting Stonnall faced off against Growler FC. Despite Stonnall's best efforts, they couldn't break through Growler's defense and lost 3-0. Growler FC showed why they are one of the top teams in the league with their composed display.

Next up, we had Odegaardians of the Galaxy take on Fat Fuchs FC. The match turned out to be an exciting affair as both teams put on a great attacking display. In the end, neither team could clinch a victory as they played out a 3-3 draw. It was a hard-fought point for both teams, and the result could have gone either way.

The third match of the night featured Leave Me Arcelona taking on Hardly Athletic FC. The game was a nail-biter from start to finish, with both teams giving their all to clinch a victory. In the end, a last-minute goal from Luke Page of Hardly Athletic ensured a point apiece, as the match ended in a 3-3 draw.
