Sunday 24th September - Walsall Oak Park Round-Up

It was a fantastic evening of action in the Walsall Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all 8 teams attending for their scheduled matches and some superb games played across the division with plenty of goals to boot!

Karma Lions clawed their way to victory against Pulse on Tour FC in a nail-biting 4-3 finish, while Odegaardians of The Galaxy and Hardly Athletic F.C battled it out in a 1-1 draw, showing the fierce competition in the division.

However, the night belonged to The Purple Helmets and Growler FC, who dominated their opposition with some fantastic football. The Purple Helmets ousted Leave Me Arcelona 8-2, demonstrating their attacking prowess and solidifying their position in the league standings.

Not to be outdone, Growler FC put in an explosive performance against Sporting Stonnall, winning the match 8-0. Both teams showed why they're tough contenders in the Premier League division.

Although Purple Helmets are champions with two to play, the competition ahead of next season looks fierce as the standard amongst the top teams improves week on week.

We thank all teams for their commitment and reliability towards the league, and look forward to seeing all teams in attendance for game week 13 of the current campaign with Walsall's premier providers of small sided football!
