Sunday 29th January - Walsall Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Walsall Sunday 6 a side league this week with all 8 teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled.

League leaders Purple Helmets grabbed another convincing victory this week as they romped to a 5-1 win over Sporting Stonnall as the top v bottom game threw up few surprises.

Odegaardians of the Galaxy keep up the pressure on the leaders though as they were 4-1 victors against Leave My Arcelona as they look to keep ground with the top side ahead of their meeting on 12th February.

Hardly Athletic moved to within a point of third as the fourth placed team were narrow 2-1 winners over Big Slice in a well competed game in which they came from behind.

Reus and Peas completed the evening's action as they were comfortable 5-0 victors over Shithouse FC in a well earned victory.
