It was a good evening's football in the Walsall Sunday 6 a side league this week overall, with all teams in attendance throughout the night across the division.
Astounding everyone with their skills and finesse on the field were the Aston Wanderers who led the way with a triumphant 5-2 victory over Shaffle FC. The Wanderers showcased their attacking prowess, with their aggressive game and cohesive team effort sealing the deal for them. The top scorer for Aston Wanderers was their star striker, whose name has been withheld due to privacy reasons, netting three of the five goals.
The second match of the evening saw Growler FC taking on Bradbury Park Rangers. Growler FC dominated the game, registering a convincing 3-0 win. Their defense was impenetrable, making life difficult for the Rangers and providing no avenue for them to score. The highlight of the match was the outstanding hat-trick from Growler FC's top scorer, who played a pivotal role in the team's victory.
In the final game of the division, TenpinTuesdaysFC faced Bloxwich Town. Despite a tough fight offered by TenpinTuesdaysFC, Bloxwich Town emerged victorious with a 3-1 win. The top scorer for Bloxwich Town also put up an impressive show, scoring two out of the three goals.
We wish good luck to all teams going into the next round of fixtures with Walsall's premier providers of small sided football!
