Sunday 5th March - Walsall Oak Park Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Walsall Oak Park Sunday 6 a side league this week overall, with all teams in attendance for their matches throughout the night as scheduled and some well competed matches played throughout the night.

Barring a major collapse The Purple Helmets won the title battle this week as they edged past Odegaardians of the Galaxy by 3 goals to 2 in a superbly competed game.  Another point will seal the deal for the team at the top going into the final two matches.

Reus and Peas are putting together a strong end to the season and sit in third place now, they were comfortable 7-0 winners over fourth placed Leavemearselona who are having a bit of a blip in recent weeks.

Hardly Athletic remain in fifth place and were comfortable 3-0 winners over bottom team Sporting Stonnall this week, whilst it was an entertaining encounter between Shithouse FC and Top of the Klopps who had to settle for a point apiece in a six goal thriller!
