Thursday 10th October - Walsall Round-Up

It was a good end to the season in the Walsall Thursday 6 a side league this week.  We were however disappointed to see two non-attendances, neither team notifying us they could not attend.  We have removed Wright Direction from the league with immediate effect for their second  consecutive failure to attend.  Saville's Army will be spoken to accordingly.

The last game of the season was a thrilling encounter between Taccy Rumpas FC and Dingle Berrys. We were treated to an exhilarating showdown that ended with Taccy Rumpas FC edging out Dingle Berrys with a narrow 3-2 victory. This hard-fought win proved the mettle of Taccy Rumpas FC, securing their top spot in the Premier League and marking the perfect end to their exceptional run this season.

Over the ten-week season, the Premier League saw a high level of competition among the teams, with each game showcasing the skill and determination of the players. Taccy Rumpas FC particularly distinguished themselves with consistent performances and an unyielding spirit that led them to the championship.

Despite the valiant efforts from Dingle Berrys, they fell just short in the last match, concluding an otherwise remarkable season for them. The team showed enormous resilience throughout the season and can surely take many positives from their campaign.

We welcome new team Bradbury Park Rangers to the league for the new season, wishing these good luck in their debut game on Thursday 17th October!
