Thursday 12th January - Walsall Round-Up

It was an excellent start to the new season in the Walsall Thursday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for the opening matches as scheduled, and some excellent matches played throughout the night.

We welcomed two new teams to the league this week, they had mixed fortunes as Pique Blinders ran out 3-1 winners in their debut game against Murder on Zidane's Floor, whilst Suarez Ate My Hamster had a tough opener against a good Smoke FC side who ran out 10-2 winners over the debutants.

Unprotected Cesc recorded a convincing 4-1 win over Bryan Munich, whilst last season's champions put in a professional performance to run out 2-0 winners over Dude Where's My Ladders?
