Thursday 17th October - Walsall Round-Up

A good evening's football overall in the Walsall Thursday 6 a side league.  We were however disappointed to see a non-attendance from Savilles Army who have been removed from the league as this was their second consecutive failure to arrive.  We welcome new team Gangsters Allardyce to the league as their replacement.  

Ballers were also missing, but return as normal on Thursday 24th October.

In the Premier League division, the much-anticipated face-off between Taccy Rumpas FC and CF Garobatso got the season off to a flying start. The match was a nail-biting thriller, a game of high stakes and higher spirits that ended in a narrow 3-2 victory for Taccy Rumpas FC. The team showcased their superior skills and teamwork right from the start, giving a strong signal to all competitors that they are here to claim the title.

CF Garobatso, despite their defeat, put up a commendable fight. They showed a level of grit and determination that signals an exciting season ahead. They will undoubtedly be looking to bounce back in the coming weeks, adding an additional layer of anticipation to the unfolding season.
