Thursday 23rd February - Walsall Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Walsall Oak Park Thursday 6 a side league this week which saw all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled across all the division.

We welcomed new side Taccy Rumpas to the league this week and though they were beaten 6-2 by a good Bryan Munich team, they showed potential and will be looking to build on this performance as they get used to the league each week.

Leaders Unprotected Cesc had to work for their fifth win of the season against Dude Where's My Ladders who equalised at one point, eventually the leaders clicked into gear and got the job done, running out 4-1 winners.

Stroke Titty are back on the hunt to retain their title and were convincing 6-1 winners against Coney's Calves this week, whilst Ball of Duty edged past Dennis Disciples by 2 goals to 1 courtesy of a last minute winner in a superbly competed game.;
