Thursday 23rd November - Walsall Round-Up

It was an excellent evening's football in the Walsall Thursday 6 a side league this week as the season came to an end, with all teams attending their fixtures as scheduled.

Despite a 4-1 defeat, FC Bin Lid took the championship after an otherwise impressive campaign.  They had built up enough of a barrier of goal difference to ensure this wasn't affected and took the title in a superb season.  This was their first and last campaign though, as they bow out for the new season.

Meanwhile, Taccy Rumpas Fc eked out a narrow 1-0 victory over Boys In Dahoud in a game where both teams left no stone unturned.

In another closely contested match, Schmeichel Jackson edged Bryan Munich with a 3-2 victory, putting themselves in as early favourites for the new season after they ended up finishing second on goal difference alone.

We are delighted to confirm the addition of three new teams for the upcoming campaign, meaning we go back up to 8 teams for next season!  We welcome into the league, Manor Mandem, Ligma Balls and Brownhills Bruisers and wish all three good luck in their debut games with us!
