It was a good evening's football overall in the Walsall Thursday 6 a side league this week, with the only disappointment being the non-attendance from supposed new team Me Mons FC, they have now been removed from the league.
On a positive note, we are delighted to confirm the league is full to capacity again, as we welcome new team Only Matip Inn to the league, they will be a lot more reliable as they move over from our Cannock Sunday league, and we wish these good luck going into their first fixture!
In terms of the action on the pitch, there was a shock result as Smoke FC suffered a 3-2 reverse against Dude Where's My Ladders after starting so well, but the experienced Ladders dug in to get a surprise and welcome victory.
Unprotected Cesc and Stroke Titty took full advantage of this and moved back to top and second respectively, level on points. Cesc were 5-1 winners over Pique Blinders whilst Stroke got an impressive 5-2 win over Bryan Munich.
We are pleased to confirm the league is now full once again and wish all teams good luck heading into game week 4 with Walsall's premier providers of small sided football!
As ever, if you have any questions regarding your league, you can contact Shaun at Head Office on 0333 123 2340.
